Loki has appeared in various issues of Journey Into Mystery, Thor, The Avengers, and several other Marvel Universe titles. Marvel eventually found the character popular enough to let Robert Rodi proceed with writing a 4-issue miniseries, Loki (July–October 2004), that features a different look at the character. The miniseries features painted covers and interior pages by artist Esad Ribic.
