Eventually, Izuku finds out that One for All contains the quirks of the previous users but he becomes the first user capable of manifesting them. While he initially disliked being called "Deku" by Katsuki, as it is based from the Japanese term meaning "good-for-nothing", Izuku is inspired by Ochaco's assumption that it was based on the word dekiru (???, to be able to/to be capable of) to embrace the moniker and ultimately adopts it as his super name.
