Read more about Bobby Pendragon at: Wikipedia Official Site: D.J. MacHale Robert "Bobby" Pendragon is the eponymous main character from D. J. MacHale's Pendragon series. Robert Pendragon (preferably called Bobby) is the main character of the The Pendragon Adventure. He is a fourteen year old boy in the first book and is a suburban basketball star living in the fictional suburb of Stony Brook, Connecticut, at the beginning of the series. He is said to have brown hair and brown eyes and to be, near the end of the series, only a little over 6' tall. He is interested in Courtney. He likes her a lot and she is his romantic interest throughout the series, though it can be assumed that, if he had continued on as a traveler rather than getting a second chance at life (in the last book), they would have remained friends, as Bobby develops intense feelings for Loor, the traveler from Zadaa, throughout the series. Bobby had even stated himself that they had grown into two different people as a result of his status as lead traveler and had he remained on Second Earth, their relationship, more than likely, would have flourished. Bobby ages throughout the series; he turns fifteen in The Never War, sixteen in Black Water, seventeen in The Quillian Games and eighteen in The Pilgrims of Rayne. Whether MacHale deliberately created this transition is unknown. Bobby's emotional maturity and moral sense increase in each book. He also becomes better at strategizing, compromising, predicting and knowing the enemy, and thinking wisely and Bobby is seen leading or occupying a key position in several wars throughout the series. Bobby is the lead traveler who has battled against Saint Dane on countless occasions with many help from other travelers. He has even killed Saint Dane once, only to see him reform again, stating that it was pointless to try to kill him. Bobby has befriended almost every traveler of his generation, and indeed every traveler he has met (with the exception of Saint Dane and Nevva Winter) and each of them has helped him in the battle for the territory. When Bobby was first taken from his home on the quest to save Denduron, he was confused and scared, with almost no knowledge of travelers, leaving him with many questions in the books, such as why he was chosen to be the lead traveler, or who made the flumes. Though, later development of Bobby shows his vast knowledge of Halla. He is not in fact human but an artificial being created to destroy Saint Dane.
Bobby Pendragon has not been a contender in any CBUB matches.
