This is a list of characters from the American animated television series The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, which was created by Maxwell Atoms, and which originally aired on Cartoon Network from August 24, 2001 to November 11, 2007.

Personality

Billy is the protagonist. He is an extremely happy-go-lucky child with an IQ of -5. He has an extremely large, pink nose, wears a blue and white striped shirt, and covers his red-orange hair with a red hat. Billy can be best described as the embodiment of both adages: "Glutton for Punishment" and "Ignorance is Bliss". He is often the cause of Mandy and Grim's mishaps since he orders Grim to do rather foolish acts with his scythe. Although generally good-natured, he has occasional fits of stubbornness, violence, and rage, which sometimes can be so intense that even Mandy seems to fear it. It is suggested that while Billy is the most innocent character of the three, he ends up causing the most problems due to his irrational and often impulsive choice of actions. For example, in the episode "Little Rock of Horrors" he ends up feeding the brains of everyone in Endsville to a giant green meteor because he thought he was doing so in order to be a good friend. Billy is terrified of clowns to the point of having recurring nightmares about them, although eventually, due to an encounter with his inner fratboy, his fear is transformed into a psychotic loathing and hate for them. He is also scared of the mailman and spiders which is quite unfortunate because he has a "son" spider named .
