is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Ryūhei Tamura that serializes in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine. Beelzebub was first published as a one-shot by Tamura in Weekly Shōnen Jump's 2008 volume 37-38, where it won the fourth Gold Future Cup, then it was serialized on the same magazine starting in its thirteenth volume in 2009. An OVA produced by Studio Pierrot was shown during the Jump Super Anime Tour in October 2010, followed by a TV anime series which began airing in Japan on January 9, 2011.

The story follows the "strongest juvenile delinquent", Oga Tatsumi, who is a first year in "Ishiyama High" the school for delinquents. The story starts as he is telling the story of how he found the baby to his best (and only?) friend Furuichi Takayuki. One day while doing laundry by the river (actually, taking revenge on people trying to kill him in his sleep), he sees a man floating down it. He pulls him to shore and it splits in half which reveals a baby boy inside. This boy is the son of the great demon king and he has been chosen as the one to raise it with the baby's maid Hilda. The story follows his life with the child and at the delinquent school. The early chapters of the manga follow Oga as he attempts to 'pass on' Baby Beel to other students at Ishiyama, (The theory is that if Oga can find someone more evil and stronger than him, Baby Beel will attach to that person instead of Oga).

The manga series Beelzebub is written and illustrated by Ryūhei Tamura. The first chapter of the manga was published in February 2009 in an issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump shōnen manga magazine, and the succeeding chapters are serialized weekly. The first tankōbon volume was released by Shueisha on July 2, 2009; as of May 2, 2011, eleven volumes have been released.

The TV anime premiered on January 9, 2011 on Yomiuri TV and other NNS stations. Crunchyroll will simulcast the series in North America and Europe two hours after airing. However, some episodes were postponed and rescheduled following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami. The television series uses four pieces of theme music, two openings and two endings. The first opening theme used between episodes 1 to 10 is by Group Tamashii, while the second opening theme, used from episode 11 onwards, is by On/Off. The first ending theme used for episodes 1-10 is "Answer" by no3b, while the second theme, used from episode 11 onwards is by Shoko Nakagawa.
