Read more about Kronika at: Wikipedia Official Site: NetherRealm Studios This is a list of playable characters from the Mortal Kombat fighting game series and the games in which they appear. The series takes place in a fictional universe composed of six realms, which were created by the Elder Gods. The Elder Gods created a fighting tournament called Mortal Kombat to reduce the wars between the realms. The first Mortal Kombat game introduces a tournament in which Earthrealm can be destroyed if it loses once again. The Earthrealm warriors manage to defeat the champion Goro and tournament host Shang Tsung, but this leads Tsung to search for other ways to destroy Earthrealm. Since then, every game features a new mortal who wishes to conquer the realms, therefore violating the rules of Mortal Kombat. By Mortal Kombat: Deception, most of the main characters had been killed by Shang Tsung and Quan Chi (neither of whom were playable in the game), but by Mortal Kombat: Armageddon all of them return. : Voiced by: Rhasaan Orange (MK9) The sub-boss of Mortal Kombat II, Kintaro is a tiger-striped Shokan (the same race as Goro and Sheeva) warrior who joins in Shao Kahn's attempt to conquer Earthrealm during the events of the second tournament, in which he challenges Liu Kang but loses. He is a boss character in the 2005 spinoff Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, and is playable along with the entire series roster in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (2006). His largest involvement in the MK continuity is in the 2011 series reboot, in which he serves as an opponent for Kung Lao, Stryker, and Sub-Zero in the game's story mode, during which he severely maims Kabal. Kintaro has a minimal presence in several MK comic book series published in the 1990s, with a more prominent role coming in the 2015 Mortal Kombat X miniseries by DC Comics, in which he serves under the command of Sheeva but is decapitated by Sonya Blade in the final issue while she is under the influence of Havik's "Blood Code" curse.
Kronika has not been a contender in any CBUB matches.
