Edward Perduarbo's origins are as dark and twisted as his mind. He claims descent from the one and only Aleister Crowley a man who self-stylized himself 'The Beast'. It was through his footsteps that the young Occultist Edward would stumble upon the relic that would change his life.

Discovery of a cult that was in direct worship of a forgotten and defeated demon Edward would begin to track them, following their trail from one end of the globe to the other. He had already discovered an artifact of mysterious origins through his ancestors studies, one that would give him what he desired. All he needed at this point was pawns, he had no way of infiltrating the cult, he had tried on several occasions and they seen through him. They knew he was a rival, an enemy and a non-believer. For some time he spent existence trapped under their spell, a victim in one of their Demonic Raves, his life-force being tapped in a pocket dimension created for this evil ritual alone.

Then, by some strange twist of fate he would be rescued by non-other than actual heroes. Their own path had become entangled with that of the demon worshiping cult. Ever the cunning opportunist Edward jumped on this chance, he convinced the wayward heroes he was a victim like all the others present and helped them to drive off the cultists and ultimately escape the limbo like dimension he and the other 'ravers' were stuck within.

Edward pressed his story, he plays the sympathy card and manages to earn the heroes trust, with their aid he could finally defeat the cult, acquire the sacred object he sought and awaken his family heirloom, the palm of Uggae. Enlisting the aid of the claw wielding heroine Dani he was able to also hire on mercenaries, Laughing Jack and Masca.

Ultimately it would end in a show-down between the cult who had resurrected the demon's avatar they worshiped against Edward, Dani, the two Mercenaries. The assembled group managed to defeat the avatar and in the process through it's demise Edward was then capable of harnessing it's dark life-force to bring the palm of Uggae forward. It woke up, the putrid strip of flesh wrapped itself into his own hand and enveloped him in darkness. His own fist transformed into a blacked purple appendage tapered in splintered claws. Through this hand he could control life and death, he then battled the weakened mercenaries and heroine, fending them off so he could escape.

In the aftermath of this, the villain Perish was born and Edward Perduarbo was no more.

Now as a member of the Fallen, Perish continues his dark deeds in the quest for self-empowerment, constantly seeking to expand his own abilities. He lets other villains steal the limelight and show while working in the shadows behind them, even in conflict he will pick out opponents weaker than him or those already near defeat and give them a taste of his withering touch. Ever the manipulator he lurks and waits until he can assume the mantle of control.

Edward 'Perish' Perdaurbo is a vile man, his heart is as black as his hand. Any form of humanity he has is twisted and corrupt to the point of non-existence, any he meets and calls friend are simply tools. He sees the world as one big challenge, a game to defeat and rise to the top of.

He is a masterful manipulator, he can appear as a social butterfly, a friend, a confidant, a charmingly compassionate man who cares selflessly for the rest of the world. This is all of course maneuvering, this is him placing himself into a position of power; learning someone so he can find out their weaknesses, gain the upper-hand and ultimately destroy them or turn them into a proper instrument. The man is a serpent.

A hedonist, a perfectionist, he has serious control freak issues. He will let others lead and be in charge as long as he ultimately believes he is going to be in power or is really the one in command. He also suffers from a horrible taste in music, playing such things as Yanni, Abba, Air Supply and other various horrible bands of the 60's through the 80's.

Deathly Coil

Perish's right arm is an un-natural thing of supernatural origins now, it can extend and grow allowing him an added range and whip-like motions with it. Quite the eerie sight when you believe you've dodged him and his arm like a python with it's own mind reaches behind.

Entropic Touch

     Decay: superior (rank 2)

Life upon touch of the blackened hand is withered away, aged and spoiled rotting wherever this vile hand is placed. This power defines as much instantly killing creatures of lesser essences, even being in close proximity with it can spell ones doom.

Lingering Venom

     Poison: standard (rank 1)

After the cursed touch of Uggae's hand has been felt toxic sickness is left behind in it's victim, weakening to outright crippling those it has caressed. Nausea, vomiting, you name it, it tends to follow in the wake of the grip.

Fiend's Caress

     Disintegration: standard (rank 1)

Briefest of contact with the hand can bring ruin to anything or anyone. Even the most dense of natural material can be corroded away. Armor and clothe, even perhaps steel does not save one from the demon's claw.

Shadow Serpent

     Martial Arts: standard (rank 1)

Perish has studied a very rare martial arts form known generically and openly as 'Snake Style Kung Fu' (though it is a very special variant), one he is effectively a master in, in combat he will stand his ground and sway slowly from side to side analyzing his opponent. When attacked he will act very much like a living whip moving to the side or slumping, his counter attacks or strikes on the first sign of weakness all come from use of the Hand of Uggae, each attack meant to leave the opponent crippled, injured or fighting for air. Less than a hundred masters and students exist in this shrouded and evil form, requiring a blood oath of loyalty, betrayel of it's secrets is a quick listing in the black book of death. Now a target by their own 'order'.

Dweller in Darkness

A mind for analyzing and tactics Perish has learned to study others, a people watcher and profiler in the extreme, rarely does sound strategy evade him. He is quite capable of figuring out opponents very swiftly learning their weaknesses and exploiting them, whether they are on a martial, mental or social level. A lurker in darkness just waiting to strike.
