“ OH MY GOD! SOLLUS IS DEAD...SOLLUSS....WHAT A TERRIBLE DAY THIS IS AROUND THE WORLD!”

The news report ended as the reporter could barely manage to finish reporting the news as tears streamed down her face as she cried. The news feed quickly cut to commercial. My eyes grew in anger and sadness. This was the day I feared would come. Sollus dying was something I never wanted to imagine. I felt like a kid again crying when I found out my dad died in car crash. Sollus since the day he first showed up changed my life for the better. Even now in my late 20's it's still my dream to be as great as Sollus. When I got my powers after Sollus' death that only motivated me further to make that dream come true. I turned back to the news report as now apparently a bunch of stupid super villains were now celebrating Sollus' death. My heart burned with rage.

Hours Later..

Standing in the crowd it was a massacre as I watched the destruction. It was probably one of the saddest days in my live. Seeing those villains rejoice in Sollus' death was the final straw.

The super-villains needed to be reminded of the order of things. They needed to know Sollus' death was only the death and rebirth of a new generation of heroes. Their celebration as far as I was concerned was going to be short lived.

On that day something came alive in me. I remember running to the nearest store. I bought a trench coat, spray paint bottle, black clothes, and raced to find a place to change my clothes. I can't explain to you what motivated me that day to want to play hero finally. It was my dream but I don't think I ever imagined me finally making that decision in the heat of the moment with everything going on.

When I got my outfit on I don't even know what I was thinking when I spray painted the S on my chest with my own symbol. I had seen Sollus's original costumes and got the idea of the symbol from there. Next thing you know after I put my outfit on I started saving people left and right. Something kicked in that I didn't even know I had.

All I know is that day I made my decision.

Super-Human Strength

Nearby I heard a huge screeching sound as a train sped along it's tracks and was shaking along it's tracks. Normal everyday citizens coming from work and school screamed for their lives as the train drifted off track. The train fell down through the air toward the streets as people below screamed at the top of their lungs. With moments to spare I sped toward the streets below as I landed in the front of the people and screamed for them to get out the way. As the train came down I extended both my hands and caught the train as it fell holding it in place. I kept a tight grip on the train as I waited until the entire train was within my grasp. I gently placed the front of the train on the ground as people around me cheered.

I smiled as part of me was somewhat glad at the respect and joy that was happening around me. I guess this is what it felt like to be a hero.

Flight

     Flight: supreme (rank 3)

I flew up in the air as a old lady fell from the 4th floor of a apartment building. I caught her and placed her on the ground as I continued. Chaos was all over the damn city as villains went nuts all over the place. A bus was thrown by one of the villains towards two kids as I flew and snatched them out the way. Nearby I could see their mother crying as I placed them in her arms. It was a rinse and repeat cycle. I flew over the city as I observed the destruction. My god it was a sight I didn't want to see in my lifetime.

God help us all...

Omega Vision

     Fire: superior (rank 2)

I landed on the ground as I observed the area around me. Three robots with the Colossus symbol on it's chest plate came marching toward me. I grinned as they fired blasts of plasma energy toward me. In seconds my eyes glowed red as my omega vision shot out and blasted away one of the robots to ashes. The other two floated off the ground and flew toward me as I unleashed a second omega vision which once again blasted the other two robots to ashes like the first. I laughed as I flew away.

If the Colossus team wanted to take me out they were gone have to do better then that.

Super-Human Speed

I dropped from the sky and walked around as I helped any citizen in trouble if they were stuck under any rubble or dangerous area. A cute female college student in her 20's ran up to me and thanked me once again for my help. She told me her name was Jamie Hollens and she was the cousin of Dave Hollens who was a member of the Dead Hunter's Society. Jamie asked when all of this was over could she interview me so the world could know about the new heroes like me who had risen during this crisis. Apparently she was a investigative reporter at the Khazan Gazette the biggest newspaper in the world. I was surprised at the gesture and nodded my head yes. Then what happened next is something I never thought of. Jamie asked me what my name was and I told her I didn't have one. She looked at my symbol and smiled. Captain Supreme.... That's what I am going to call you in my article. I nodded and told her I liked the name as I ran off using my super-speed to move toward my next target.

I think I met my Lois Lane.
