Born into a criminal family, Mikel Sorovich was accepted into the KGB at an early age. He became a top operative, carrying out numerous opperations on American soil and living the lavish lifestyle. After the dissolving of the Soviet Union in '92 he lost everything. He wasn't able to find any bounty hunting jobs and could only work in disabling nuclear weapons which shortened his life by at least twenty years. He eventually gave up legal work in Russia to work for the Russian Mafia. They sent him on numerous missions and he eventually ended up back in America, in Washington D.C. He committed numerous crimes involving breaking into government buildings. That caught the attention of the Atlantic Liberation Troops who contacted him and offered him a low command position. Tired of being a minion for the Mafia, he accepted the position on the condition that he would pick the group of troops that worked for him. The ALT reluctantly agreed and Mikel contacted 10 of his comrades from the KGB. They all eagerly came to D.C. and the division of ALT that became known as the opasalsya terroristov or the feared terrorists. They terrorized the lower end of politicians, from the new guy in congress to any one with low security. The higher ups raised their number of personal bodyguards and the President often called in large numbers of National Guard troops only to find that the ALT operatives had gone cold. The second that the troops left, crime resumed to its normal rate.

Mikel is a strategist at heart. He commanded his unit during the Cold War and was built for leadership. He is extremely distrustful of any person who is not Russian and will even pull a weapon on an ALT operative who sneaks up on him. He is a bold commander and will often make ransom videos with him in front of the camera, knowing his mug will be on the most wanted list. He is cool calm and collected for the majority of the time though he has been seen to break a man's arm over an argument about being promoted. He is very patient about crimes and will wait a month in order to perfectly pull a plan off. He cares about his Russian comrades but will eagerly sacrifice any other person in order to have a plan work.
