Energy Conduit
Energy Conduit: Standard
Glaucon's link with the Void has given him increased power, and the ability to take on some of the "massive" properties of the Void. Given time, they will be One.
The Void
Gravity: Ultimate
- Area Affect
- Armor Piercing
- Multi-Attacks
"We must all return to the Void. Let me show you the way." The Void is Glaucon's main weapon, the embodiment of his power and his greatest fear. It will pull anything and everything in the Universe (matter and energy alike) to its core, and once you reach the inky blackness that is its frontier, you can never return. Only by avoiding this odd little sphere that Glaucon seems to control will the opponent have any chance to best him. And considering Gravity's power to draw you in and then to crush you, that is no small feat. All of the fighters the Void has absorbed over the course of Glaucon's trials in Khazan have added to the power of the Void, allowing it to blast through all but the staunchest of defenses as if they did not even exist, and strike multiple times to ensure the downfall of even the mightiest foe.
Paralysis
Paralysis: Superior
"Do not fear. Your hands will no longer shake. See?" The gravitational fields controlled by Glaucon and powered by the Void all but the most hardy to become paralyzed, or slow and sluggish with the effects of the fluctuating Gravity, which takes effect no matter what the terrain. Glaucon's efforts and struggles with foes able to avoid his gravitational prowess have led him to train hard to develop the gravity wells that chill his opponents and leave them unable to move. Now they hunt you, and strike no matter where you hide.
Motion Defined
Telekinesis: Ultimate
"All by my hand, all by my will." Even before his journey into the Void, Glaucon was known as a master of the art of Telekinesis. All matter is under his control. He uses his powers to deflect the physical attacks of his opponents, to "soften them up" with debris from the terrain (or even their own weapons!), and to augment the gravitational prowess of the Void. In addition, his powers allow him to erect a TK Shield of Standard Level power as a last resort against enemy attacks. Nearly all fighters will succumb to Glaucon's Telekinesis and fall into the Void.
Flight
Flight: Standard
"Altitude is irrelevant. Distance may have an effect." Glaucon's powers of matter manipulation extend to control over his physcial person, and the void. He may fly at a reasonable speed and altitude indefinitely.
Resolve of the Void
Iron Will: Ultimate
"You resist? You do not know the meaning of the word." Glaucon has sacrificed his soul and part of his mind to the Void - the cold relentlessness of the Dark Star is part of his reward for winning the first round of their eternal duel. Normal Strength attacks will not faze Glaucon. With some frequency he can call upon the power of the Void to become like a Black Hole himself - able to withstand any assault his opponent can muster. It is his goal to bring his opponents within range of the Void, and to this end he must be able to withstand or evade their initial assault. After Glaucon's meeting with MÃÂÃÂÃÂörder, he gained some of his foe's demonic will to survive.
Pendant of Memory
Closed Mind: Superior
- Weakness: Power in Item - Easy to Lose
- Weakness: Limited Uses - Multi-Use
- Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Catwalk
"Whisper your secrets and your charms to the Void, fool." Glaucon carries but one memento of his former life. This pendant carries in it a picture of a lost love (though blackened and unrecognizable), whose name has long since been forgotten by everyone but Glaucon. It acts as a shelter for his mind when under assault by foreign mentalists and psychics. It is difficult to breach, but attempts to do so may be aided by the Void's efforts to erode Glaucon's memory of his former life. Over time, the memories will cease to be a shelter, and Glaucon's mind will be left to the ravages of the opponent. Alternately, Glaucon's opponents can attempt to seize the locket (although getting close enough to do so is no small enterprise) or engage him on the Catwalk, a venue which strikes fear in Glaucon's heart and renders his attempts to retreat his mind from combat useless; the emptiness all around him seeming a bit too much like the Void for his comfort.
Staff of Force I
Force Field: Superior
- Reinforced Defenses
- Weakness: Power in Item - Easy to Lose
- Weakness: Not usable in terrain - City Skyline
"Your will denied!" The simple staff Glaucon holds in his hands has been imbued with his power over the time he has been fighting in the FPL. Now it acts as a channel and amplifier of his telekinetic abilities. Using Glaucon's ambient power, it acts as an extension of his unconscious will to turn aside or dampen the effects of physical and energy attacks flung in his direction. This causes all but ultimate attacks to be ignored by Glaucon's willpower. Unfortunately, Glaucon's grip is not strong, and the staff can be snatched from his grasp without much difficulty. In the City Skyline Glaucon must use more of his latent power to stabilize his flight and prevent a dangerous fall, so this power is all but useless. Over time Glaucon's Staff has become stronger, and is now no longer limited in battle.
Staff of Force II
Marksman: Standard
- Weakness: Power in Item - Easy to Lose
"You cannot escape Fate. Do not waste your last moments asking succor of the Void." In his trials with his enemies, Glaucon found that some of them were agile enough to escape the grasp of his power, for a time. Glaucon's staff also acts as a stabilizer for his telekinetic powers, causing them to strike his opponent far more often, no matter how they try to evade him. This power is also linked to the staff Glaucon carries, and will be lost should he lose his artifact.
Robes of the Magi
Body Armor: Standard
- Reinforced Defenses
- Weakness: Not usable in terrain - Mountain Peaks
"Cloak and dagger. You flutter like a butterfly." With what appears to be near Ultimate Victory over the Void within his grasp, Glaucon has increased in his confidence and his prowess in manipulating spatial compression. His foe's attacks strike his flowing robes that seem to twist and enfold their power, redirecting it, weakening it. Whether they move according to his will or merely appear to do so as the Void warps the space around his being, it is difficult to say. At the high altitudes of the Moutain Peaks, Glaucon's fear causes him to lose the finesse over the Void required to activate this power. Glaucon's robes and staff will make even the strongest attacks dissipate reducing them to a level that can be ignored indefinitely by his indomitable willpower.
