After his crushing defeat at the hands of Myth And Griff , Miles Hunter ( AKA : SonicHunter ) was rushed to the Khazan Veterans Memorial Hospital . At his bedside was Rick Hunter , Lisa Hayes , and Lynn Minmei . Minmei had just recently found out that Miles had fought in the FPL as SonicHunter for his love for her . In a rather bold move , Miles took a VERY EXPENSIVE diamond ring and asked Minmei if she would marry him . Overwhelmed with Joy , Minmei said yes !! A year later , Minmei gave birth to a baby girl . When she was five , Ami " Mizuno " Hunter heard about Khazan and the Fantasy Powers League from a conversation between her father and some of his friends from The Sentinels Of Liberty And Justice . Ami immediately wanted to go to khazan and participate in the FPL . After giving it much thought , getting permission from Minmei , and enduring hour upon hour of the " Please Dad " routine , Miles agreed to train Ami for her eventual inclusion into the FPL . During her training , Ami proved to be incredibly fast as well as incredibly smart ( for someone her age ) , she also exhibited a variety of mutant powers . A detailed analysis of Ami's body revealed the reason for her incredible abilities . For starters , her genetics were from two very unique individuals . Plus , Miles' Proteus Armor enhanced genes had a strange effect on Ami . After she was born , Miles' Proteus Amor enhanced genes began to work on Ami . They formed cybernetic enhancemments on Ami's nervous system , endocrine system , as well as her already impressive mutant powers . Combining the cybernetic enhancements with Ami's already impressive powers have made Ami into a formidable fighter . Now Ami is ten years old . She has entered the Fantasy Powers League with two goals in mind , to fight for truth and justice , and to preserve the Hunter Bloodline !! Evil Beware , SonicHuntress is here !!
