The Desert Fox, Field Marshall Erwin Rommel, despised the fanaticisim his mother country of Germany. The Nazi platitudes spouted by Hitler were turning the world against them, and such single-minded bigotry always got in the way of good soldiering. More concerned with the way history would view his home than his personal safety, Rommel plotted against his "master." Rather than using poison, which many of his fellow conspirators favored, Rommel secretly transported small parts of his tank units back to Europe, and sent them into hiding. On a state visit to Berlin, he struck, leading 12 Panzer and infantry divisions against the German General Staff Command, Hitler, and other Reich dignitaries. Thus was an early surrender forced, and his home Germany spared the ravages of a ground war. Rommel is hailed as a hero, and the world moves on. Rommel continues his career afterward as a mercenary, favoring causes he feels to be just and lifing oppression. Time, however, is usually a losing battle, and with his legs lost in combat and old age deteriorating his body, Rommel fears imminent death. At this time, though, an aged Albert Einstein, always grateful the Rommel had crushed the Nazi fervor in Germany and allowed him to return home, presented the General with the fruits of his nuclear research. Since the war ended early, the secrets of the atom could be turned to life itead of death. The energies were contained in a life support module that Rommel ordered mounted on his most advanced tank. Thus, the reborn Cyber Panzer Rommel became a one man army, ready to do battle again.

This is a very ancient ring, bearing the crest of a sharp-eyed falcon. Empowered with spiritual energy, it was created ages ago by a small sect of knowledge-seeking priests who prized a sharp eye, sharp mind and the ability to solve mysteries. As such, the ring grants great detective skills. However, it doesn't work in a Bar Fight ('cause the wearer should have known better to begin with).

The Desert Fox is one of the greatest modern generals of all time. His manuvers, plans, and deceptions are brilliantly executed, and each combat adds to his book of tactics. His mind is constantly growing and evolving with each battle, and he modifies each plan to roll with the punches.

The years of combat have given Rommel what seems to be a small bit of precognition. He subconsciously analyzes his situation, and knows when danger is about.

The Mechanized Armor Tactical Energy Tip missile cannon is Rommel's current favorite weapon. A high velocity missle, it is tipped with an unstable isotope bombarded with various energies. This combination results in a concentrated, minature nuclear explosion on contact. The missiles are small, and Rommel can carry a near-infinite supply of them.

This is the most advanced armored vehicle technology can provide. It is heavily reinforced and carries a great deal of armaments. Rommel, apparently from a sense of nostalgia, decided to use the shape and coloration of a late WWII tank. The Einsteinian apparatus that sustains Rommel's life is also contained deep within it's bowels, helping shield the General's body from incoming fire.

Rommel's sheer will helps him to continue in the face of mental assaults. The battle is all, and even attacks on his mind are hard pressed to change this. Rommels tactical personality is constantly analyzing and reanalyzing his own motives and actions, and such analyses often reveal for expulsion mental invasions.
