Vlad grew up in a small back water town in the marshy regions of Canada, He hated that region because everyone smoked too much reefer. He would beat them up and feel them to the crabs, it was he who made the term " Crab People" Famous. Nowadays criminals are beat near to death and fed to the crabs. He invented " Crab Lasania". Now he is a Privateer Roaming the waterways looking for people to feed to the crabs.

Vlad, is a good natured guy. very charming and handsome. He forsakes the typical rugged disgusting look of the stereotypical pirate. He has a Robin Hood Complex he loots the rich and cruel and gives to the poor and humble.
